Funded hours (NEG)
Many of our families use government-funded childcare hours, known as NEG funding. We are approved to offer funded places for nine-month-olds, two-year-olds and three-year-olds.
For nine-month-olds and two-year-olds, funding is stretched across our 51-week year at 11.25 hours a week. That spreads your funded hours evenly, with no term-time gaps to plan around.
From the term after your child's third birthday, 15 funded hours become available. You can stretch them over 51 weeks, or take them term time only over 38 weeks once your child joins our Rockets room, using funded hours alone.
Thirty funded hours are offered on Full Day and School Day sessions only, stretched over 51 weeks at 22.50 hours a week. If you are not sure what your family qualifies for, we are always happy to talk it through.
Our fees
Every room shares the same session prices, so your fees stay steady as your child moves up through the nursery. The table below is kept up to date by the nursery team.
For funded children we ask a voluntary sustainability charge: £1.50 for a 9am to 1pm session (includes snack), £3 for 8:30am to 4pm (AM and PM snack), £3.50 for 1pm to 5pm (snack and evening meal), and £5 for 7:30am to 6pm (AM and PM snack and evening meal). It also covers wipes, nappies, suncream and extra curricular activities.
Families are free to opt out of the charge. If you do, you supply those items yourself on each session, together with a cold tea option for after 4pm.
Next review date April 2027.
